CHI St. Luke's Health Signs Agreement as the First Partner in Vivacity Medical District

CHI St. Luke’s Health and The Signorelli Company, a leading real estate development company headquartered in The Woodlands, have entered into an agreement to serve the rapidly growing Northeast quadrant of Houston.

Valley Ranch is a 1,400-acre master-planned development located at the epicenter of growth at the intersection of I-69 and The Grand Parkway in Northeast Houston. Valley Ranch will encompass the following components at completion: a Town Center, Entertainment District, Residential Districts, Commerce District and a Medical District, known as Vivacity. Vivacity is a 186-acre project dedicated to preventative health, wellness and personalized medicine initiatives. Vivacity Medical District is situated at an area identified as a priority among the CHI St. Luke’s sub-markets.

Over the next year, CHI St. Luke’s and The Signorelli Company will explore how to best support and contribute to the vision of making world-class healthcare accessible and convenient in this growing market.  This agreement allows the opportunity for CHI St. Luke’s to be Vivacity’s first healthcare partner and establish its footprint in the area.  As part of the due diligence process, CHI St. Luke’s will determine how to best integrate its expertise in planning and phasing for a broad range of healthcare services and recruiting physician partners that will offer additional patient access points that align with the needs of the community.  

CHI St. Luke’s leaders view this expansion as a means to ensure long-term growth for the health system, while sustaining and advancing its healing ministry to the communities it serves.
